Right of withdrawal

This is an English translation for information. The German Widerrufsbelehrung is the legally binding version. The right of withdrawal applies to consumers only (§ 13 BGB).

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Anonyfox e. K., owner Maximilian Stroh, Zehntland 2d, 21079 Hamburg, Germany, email: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

Personal digital content: where digital content is made to your specifications (e.g. a horoscope report based on your birth data), there is no right of withdrawal under § 312g (2) no. 1 BGB; alternatively, any right of withdrawal expires under § 356 (6) BGB when performance begins after your express consent and acknowledgement at checkout and the contract confirmation under § 312f BGB.

Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium: the right of withdrawal expires under § 356 (6) BGB once we have begun performance after you have (1) expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends, (2) acknowledged that your consent means you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and (3) we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract under § 312f BGB.
